On a recent visit to Florence, Italy, I discovered one of those places that really leaves you inspired - my new favorite boutique hotel, The J.K. Place. Located in Piazza Santa Maria Novella in the heart of downtown Florence, the J.K. place is a quiet refuge for any traveler. The clean and modern design along with comfortable hospitality from the staff makes the J.K. feel like your home away from home. Above, is the cozy parlor where a fire is always burning - a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a busy day of sight seeing..
I was completely wowed by the reception area - a cozy library with breath taking ceilings!
The artwork and objects juxtaposed throughout the hotel provide endless visual stimulation!
Again, the unbelievable ceilings!
The guest rooms are extremely comfortable with much attention to detail in the space planning.
Breakfast is served every morning in the dining room where travelers get to know each other and share stories around the community table.
The lounge is the perfect spot for a drink, to check your email, or relax while watching a little TV.
The roof deck and bar provide amazing views of rooftops and the city - especially at night!
I highly recommend the J.K. place for anyone looking for a comfortable and modern home in the heart of Florence and look forward to my next visit!
